Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and complete the form below to begin a claim for a refund. Please see the FAQ for further information.

  • Why is the Helmet being recalled?
    The Helmet is being recalled because it does not comply with the positional stability requirements of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission federal safety standard for bicycle helmets. The helmet can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury.
  • How can I tell if my helmet is subject to recall?
    The helmets were sold in size Medium (M) in multiple colors: Neon Yellow, White/Pink, White/Orange, and White Carbon. The helmet models can also be identified by a manufacture sticker inside the helmet identifying the item model number (731434, 731436, 733192, 733194). A factory production sticker is also located inside the helmet with a product code beginning with S-166.
  • What do I do with the recalled helmet?
    1) Stop using the helmet immediately 2) Cut the straps from both sides of the helmet to make it unusable 3) Take a photo of the helmet with the straps cut and 4) Email the photo to bikeaid@cyclefg.com
